Social/Event Management 

We are searching for an enthusiastic event manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our organization's image, improve member loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-public experience.  

Social department is one of the most critical and vital sections of Small Island Unity. You will be the manager of creating the lasting image/impression all year round of what people view the organization's success and overcoming challenges. 

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Basic Knowledge and operations of social media platforms

Education & Experience

  • MBO or higher

  • Experience in:

- Public relations 

- Event Management 

- (Communications/Hospitality a plus)

Language Requirements

  • Proper command of Dutch and English (Written and Speaking)

  • Other languages are a plus

Tasks

  • Understand and maintain the foundation’s Mission and Vision

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts

  • Ability to engage an audience through social media posts and interactions

  • Handling logistics 

  • Setting, communicating, maintaining timelines and priorities on every event project. 

  • Handling budgets and invoicing.

  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors.

  • Negotiating sponsorship deals.

  • Manage branding and communication.

  • Developing event feedback surveys.

  • Handling post-event reports
