Volunteer Managers are responsible for selecting, training, and supervising the volunteer staff of an organization. You are responsible for high-level activities and spend a lot of time working with the team and making vital decisions.
As a Volunteer Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring volunteers for open positions.Your goal will be to always meet project needs by finding candidates that match their organizational culture and open job positions.
This position involves a great deal of contact with other people, so a Volunteer Manager must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Tasks

Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluation of new volunteers

Experience in managing teams and complex projects or events

Tracking volunteer hours and using the data to create reports

Scheduling and planning meetings with the volunteers

Assess the requirement of the volunteers for service delivery.

Incorporate a budget for volunteer programs and evaluate the programs.
